Boon Sheridan

Boon is a product designer, thinker and shenaniganist dedicated to helping solve problems and have fun while doing it. Over the last 20 years he’s been a site producer, content specialist, an information architect, interaction designer, user researcher, and voice-over actor (some with more success than others). He’s had the pleasure of speaking at EuroIA, the MIMA Summit, MidwestUX, TNNA, UCLA, UXPA, and other great places with acronyms. He’s currently a Senior Product Designer for NASDAQ OMX, a Rosenfeld Media expert, a lover of new cocktails and old records. He can be found on twitter at @boonerang and he’d love to swap stories over a beverage.

Day 3  11.23  Sat  15:00-18:00
Customer Journeys, maps, stories, flows, scenarios. Whatever you call them they’re a powerful tool for understanding interactions, touchpoints, and moments of engagement between a company and an individual. Given the level of detail possible they often require long cycles, multiple lanes of research and multiple rounds of review to complete. What about a slightly different approach: creating journeys with less information, more inspiration and geared to foster conversations? I’ll take you through ideas and methods I’ve learned to spark discussions, identify biases, uncover insights and collaborate with as many people as you can get hold of.
